The end of last year was a big build up for me. I saw a lot of things fall away that were the object of huge celebrations and milestone moments that I hadn’t even imagined experiencing. And yet, they still fell away… and not without appreciation for the growth they showed me and the opportunities they’ve brought to me.
I’m not sure I fully grasped until now… the concept that things and people who were once extremely instrumental in our lives perhaps aren’t meant to be here for us constantly and for all of our lifetime… that there are people and pieces of our reality that are here for us to experience lessons, support, growth, and joy with, if only for a moment… without knowing how long that moment will be when they come into our lives. And sometimes they don’t naturally fall away. Sometimes it takes acknowledging a hard truth… if only a whisper… or perhaps even an inkling of a shift in energy for us to begin to feel the distance between what we once knew to be a constant. And with this distance comes the choice to initiate a change… and sometimes without feeling certain in what’s next.
I find myself now more than ever in this in between…. In between love and loss, excitement and grief, curiosity and old paradigms, ideas and action, safety and uncertainty, letting go and receiving new.
There is so much discovery inside the in between, just as much as there is unknown. There is so much strength in existing here… leaning into trusting ourselves while also building internal safety, and allowing ourselves to surrender to the undoing.
The thing is… we can’t mess it up. Whatever is meant for us is going to come to us. I am trusting that everything that it meant for me… the lessons, the learnings, the experiences, the people, the opportunities, the growth, the stillness… it’s all on its way. Nothing is worth worrying about… in fact it is all already taken care of. Are you ready to trust that that can be the same for you?
How I see the undoing that is happening in my life and business right now—beyond the things that are already falling away—is the new permission slips that have been long over due, yet are honoured now, in divine timing within the in between…
🕳️The permission to integrate all of the information that I’ve collected up until the now, imperfectly, with curiosity.
🕳️The permission to experience stillness from a place of wholeness, presently, with love.
🕳️The permission to surrender to my vision, experimenting, with feeling.
🕳️The permission to change my mind, about anything, without apology.
It’s a shift to exist here in the in between without being fixed on what could lie on the other side. For all of the things I do not know, there are some experiments I am already looking forward to inviting you to join me in—here, inside the in between, within this universe of possibility.
